Spend the Day at Lake at the Hills

Take the entire family out for a fun day at Lake at the Hills. The Lake at the Hills is less than two miles from Southern Utah University and is less than a mile from the Cedar City Walmart. Lake at the Hills offers kayak rentals, fishing, and a boat ramp for non-motorized boats.

Catch a Show at the Shakespeare Festival

Did you know that the Tony award winning Utah Shakespeare Festival is located in Cedar City? The Utah Shakespeare Festival was founded in 1961 and has had an enormous positive impact in the community and beyond. The featured plays at the Utah Shakespeare Festival for the 2019 season include: Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Macbeth, Hamlet, The Book of Will, The Conclusion of Henry VI: Parts Two and Three, Twelfth Night, Every Brilliant Thing, The Price, and The Greenshow.

Attend the Trace Adkins Concert

The SUU Alumni and Community Relations office is presenting Trace Adkins on July 10th at 7:30 PM. This concert will take place at the America First Event Center at Southern Utah University (SUU). Trace Adkins has garnered multiple number one hits on the hot country songs Billboard chart and he is currently on his “Don’t Stop Tour.” Tickets for the upcoming Trace Adkins concert at SUU can be purchased by visiting the Thunderbird Ticket Office, by calling (435) 586-7872, or online at tbirdtickets.com.

Enjoy the Day at July Jamboree

Every year, a section of Main Street is blocked off to traffic for the July Jamboree community event. The July Jamboree features live music, a line up of beautiful classic cars, community vendors, and more. The 22nd Rotary July Jamboree will take place on July 13, 2019 from 3:00 PM- 9:00 PM on historic Main Street in Cedar City. You won’t want to miss this beloved community event!
